Our Teaching

While God has been blessing the things we have been doing, we are not ignorant of the fact that there has been controversy that have surrounded this ministry, especially in two specific areas: how LOFT began and what is being taught at LOFT. There was some accusations that Sam has been leading people astray in the faith. We want you to know that these rumors are not accurate, and that we have done everything possible to make ourselves as a ministry and individually accountable both to God and to our fellow believers.

1. We have placed ourselves under the leadership and guidance of three pastors from around the country who have the authority to review every message being preached at a LOFT service. They also have a right to correct any errors (both theologically and moral) of the leadership of LOFT.

2. All of our messages are presented online for viewing. There is nothing hidden from anyone.

3. Our statement of faith clearly shows the official position and beliefs of the ministry. To see our statement of faith, please click here.

About Pastor Sam Chacko

Sam has been raised in a Pentecostal family. Both of his grandparents were pastors before being promoted to glory. His father, Rev. Geevarghese Chacko, has been in the ministry since the early 70's both in India and in Philadelphia.

He attended Oral Roberts University (Tulsa, OK) and graduated with a business degree. After working for a year, he felt the Lord leading him to go back to seminary. He graduated with his Master's of Divinity from ORU in 2003. During this time, he served as a hospital chaplain in Oklahoma City and in Tulsa, OK. He also had the privilege of being the youth minister of IPC Hebron, Ok. He has spoken all over the country in various conventions and youth camps. He has ministered in various parts of the world, including leading mission trips to India and Africa.

Sam was instrumental in help starting the Association of Biblical Counselors, a ministry that trains pastors and leaders on how to counsel from a Biblical viewpoint. He is also currently working with Marketplace Chaplains, a ministry that provides chaplain care to corporations and businesses around the country.

He married his lovely wife, Ann, in September of 2003. Their marriage was unfortunately surrounded with sorrow, as Ann's brother, Jaiby, drowned in a lake in Dallas, only a week before their wedding. Needless to say, they started the marriage on some trying and difficult moments, but the Lord has been faithful and brought them this far. They have been blessed with two children, Nicole (born Oct 2004) and Timothy (born March 2007). They currently reside in Rowlett, TX.

If you have any questions on any of the theological issues or questions on the begining of LOFT, Sam is willing to talk to you personally. He will be as transparent as possible and will not avoid any questions. He can be reached at sam@loftworship.com or phone: 214-403-6259
